I love working in mixed media, when little scraps of paper turn into magical creatures and watercolours create infinite oceans.

However, there is an acrylic dragon or two around the corner…

Of course, not forgetting one shy octopus…

There’s not enough hours in the day, to let all my creations come alive…

Bee The Illustrator

In the woodlands, in the heart of Wiltshire, UK, nestles a studio created entirely of reclaimed materials.

Inside the studio, is a desk covered in paint and paper, which I call home.

From this desk, stories come to life and bounce about all over the studio floor and walls.

While on the outside, squirrels frolic, to the sound of birdsong.

At my feet, lay two dogs, and amongst the pencils and paintbrushes, nestle two cats.

In recent years, I have started pursuing the dream of storytelling.

This all began with a story about a little girl in a new garden. This is where Dylan started his life. Furthermore, my studio became alive with 3D characters from the story.

One of the events, I really enjoy, is Inktober.

This is where artists brush up on skills to strengthen their craft.

While in the woodlands, hiding, splashing and adventuring, the Eco-Echoes led by Conker, fill children’s hearts with glee and their pockets bulging with treasure…

So when the Raven calls, it’s time for bed…

So while the paint dries, and the water stills, the mice come out to play in the pencil shavings by the light of the moon…
